"Baaa – Means No" (scroll over the barn to reveal) Acrylic on wood 24” x 14” 2006 – sold This piece has real working barn doors. I was inspired by the Brokeback Mountain craze sweeping the nation. I didn’t want to go out and sleep with a man, so I did the next best thing… made a crazy painting of a man being accosted by a sheep. |

"Jesus is Back" Acrylic on canvas 24" x 12" 2005 - Available I entered this in the Dunedin Fine Arts Centers annual “Concorso Rapido”, which means – fast show. Myself and a bunch of elderly ladies showed up in the morning with blank canvases and had to submit a finished painting by the end of the day. Can you believe I saw Jesus in the sky? More so, can you believe I didn’t win the contest? I told my son to act excited about my painting, note the blur of excitement surrounding him. |
